Drinking water has many health-related benefits. However, in the school setting, students have lots of beverage choices. To help encourage students to drink more water and cut back on sugary drinks, the Delta Dental of Virginia Foundation offers a limited number of water bottle filling stations to Virginia schools each year through the Rethink Your Drink* program. The Delta Dental of Virginia Foundation pays for both the installation and the stations.

Schools selected for the Rethink Your Drink program will have an old drinking fountain replaced with a new Elkay water fountain/bottle filling station at no cost. Priority will be given to:

• Schools that have the highest rates of free and reduced-price lunch, and
• Schools that have one or fewer water bottle filling stations installed in their building.
